And due to the Valentine's Day event; "Angels Tonight", organised by P.O.D, there will be no sports this weekend as loads of people are needed to help get the place ready.

So spread the love and go help out...

The long post of boring, tedious but necessary information.

It’s a new year and S.F.C has undergone some tweaking, so let’s just cut to the chase.

What’s new? (Image Stuff)

What’s new? (Sports Stuff)

1) Dissemination of information.

For 2009, S.F.C will no longer be informing about our sports sessions or any other event via text messages. The information regarding S.F.C’s events will now be posted on the blog.

Thus, it’s up to you all to take responsibility and check the blog for upcoming events.

2) Confirming attendance.

Once you have checked the blog and decide to join us in the events, you are to inform (text, call, e-mail, tag…) any member of S.F.C. Your name will then be posted to show that your attendance is confirmed.

3) Minimum number of participants.

So far, S.F.C organizes either touch or floorball on the weekends and we need to have a certain number of participants if the event is to happen. Thus, the minimum number of participants for TOUCH is 15 and FLOORBALL is 10. If this number is not reached, the event is automatically cancelled.

4) The Deadline

How to know if the event is cancelled? Here comes the deadline; Wednesday, 11pm. The information for weekend’s sport session will be up on Sunday. Thus, all of you have 3 days to confirm your attendance.

After Wednesday, 11pm, if the minimum number of participants is not reached, then the event is cancelled. Any confirmations received after this time does not count & those who did confirm their attendance have 2 days to check if the event is still going on.

5) The NS/no internet people

For those who are sacrificing it all or do not have internet access or unable to check the blog for whatever reason, we will still text you of events but you must let us know. By the way, laziness is not a reason.

What’s new? (Sports Sessions)

1) Training

Our weekend sports sessions will now consist of drills followed by games with the occasional pinch of physical training. Unfortunately, you all have no say in this. By confirming your attendance or showing up, you are hereby adhering to train. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!

2) Punctuality

Well, this has always been an issue. So, for the weekend sports sessions, there will be consequences. For every non-S.F.C member who is late, all the participants already there have to do 5 push-ups for the late comer (more latecomers = more push-ups).

For every S.F.C member who is late, that member has to do 5 push-ups for every person who is already there. Late = 16 minutes after the event started. And by confirming your attendance or showing up, you are hereby adhering to this rule. :)

Alright some updates.
since you all may have already been here a few times.
if you have even notice
you have already been redirected to our new SFC blog link.
not saying that you can't use the old one.

especially those who don't know
